Details

PVC-C is a post-chlorinated PVC-U with high rigidity, strength and hardness at elevated temperatures (+85 °C). It can withstand corrosive liquids at temperatures greater than standard PVC-U.

Other characteristics include:

  • High mechanical strength, tensile strength and hardness
  • Good insulation properties for electronics
  • High chemical resistance
  • Self-extinguishing
  • Low water absorption
  • Low impact strength

Typical fields of application for CPVC Rod include chemical engineering and tank building, clean room and semiconductor industries and ventilation manufacturing. CPVC Rod is a material well suited to billeting, precision grinding and CNC turning. Similar materials available from Plastock include ABS Extruded Grey Rod and PETP Extruded Natural Rod.
